The graduate role supports the Sales and Land Acquisition teams by pricing new development opportunities and conducting comprehensive market research. It offers a pathway into property sales or development, working across sales and land strategy, competitor benchmarking and development consultancy analysis.
Key responsibilities include assisting with land pricing and sales forecasts, researching competitor projects and specifications, mapping local amenities and site context, and producing market intelligence reports and dashboards.
- Assist in preparing sales pricing and analysis for new land acquisition opportunities.
- Collect and analyse inputs from internal teams (Land, Sales, Development, Commercial, Finance) for bid submissions.
- Support the preparation of sales forecasts and strategies for proposed schemes.
- Provide input on expected sales rates, plot‑by‑plot prices, and margin assumptions based on market trends.
- Help create interior architecture and design briefs and manage the tendering process.
- Review competitor developments for pricing, unit types, build quality, amenities, specifications and upgrade options.
- Benchmark specification levels against competitors to support product positioning and cost/value analysis.
- Track competitor sales incentives and marketing strategies in the local area.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date competitor database on key schemes and new launches.
- Research and map local amenities (transport links, schools, retail, leisure, healthcare, employment hubs) to assess site desirability and buyer appeal.
- Gather insights on catchment areas, school ratings, crime statistics and community infrastructure for sales strategy and planning submissions.
- Produce site context reports for internal evaluations and external presentations.
- Monitor housing market trends, demographic shifts, buyer preferences and planning policy developments.
- Prepare internal reports, presentations and dashboards summarising research findings.
- Assist with GIS mapping and visual representation of research data.
- Attend competitor site visits and local consultations as required.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate in Real Estate, Business, Geography, Urban Planning, Economics or a related discipline, with strong numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, high attention to detail, excellent written communication, and a genuine interest in the property sector. Candidates must be confident, proactive, able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines, and may need a full UK driving licence depending on site access.
