Assist in strategic planning activities associated with the US Federal Program, including the identification of potential beneficial acquisitions and transformational projects
Engage USAF leadership to understand upcoming business and teaming opportunities, and position Stantec for success
Perform Program Management, QA, and related activities supporting the management and execution of projects
Seek and enhance favorable relationships with strategic partners within the DOD engineering community
Seek and enhance small business relationships within the DOD small business community
Leadership to develop, support, and execute the Stantec USAF Account. This includes development of strategies to understand and expand current strengths, understanding current USAF relationships, and organizing that knowledge to establish Stantec as the go to provider for the USAF.
Engage Stantec GS Business Unit Leaders, GS Senior leadership and work collaboratively with Stantec US Federal staff to develop relationships, pursue opportunities, and execute USAF work. Your Secondary Responsibilities In addition to these primary responsibilities the successful candidate will:
Represent Stantec with outreach efforts, including professional societies and other organizations linked to the USAF. "

Strong leadership skills, interpersonal and presentation skills
Knowledge of the USAF Civil Engineering structure and procurement process
An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges of a consulting-services provider
BS Degree in Engineering or Architecture; advanced degree preferred
Experience with and a working knowledge of the Federal procurement SF330 process
Engineering or Architectural registration is preferred, but not required
Experience in leading a team of highly skilled professionals and an ability to successfully network across a large enterprise organization
Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and managerial skills
Strong ability and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining productive relationships with the USAF personnel
The ability to travel as required to manage efforts across the US, Alaska, and Hawaii as well as selected Air Force Bases around the world.
Strong relationships with AFCEC, MAJCOM Detachments, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and HQ Air National Guard (ANG) along with the active, reserve, and ANG installations
Strong understanding of the USAF architectural and engineering market
United States Air Force leadership veterans with extensive A/E contracting and execution experience are preferred.
