Ensures that, “Constructing with Integrity,” is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work.
Record and control change management decisions with owners and trade partners.
Establish excellent working relationships with various partners, including upper management, owners, designers, vendors, and trades.
Responsible for mentoring, managing, and evaluating the Design Phase Team.

Learn and fully understand the owners needs, goals and requirements for the project.
Coordinate, review, and submit designs to owner(s)
Lead and encourage teams to reach or exceed their goals, while implementing and promoting the company’s policies, regulations and guidelines.
Manage processes related to the projects design to ensure timely delivery. Working closely with estimators, design teams and other key members of the project team.
Conduct financial, technical, and operational risk assessments and advising on any potential risks, opportunities, and potential hazards.
The design manager is responsible for overseeing the design process in its entirety, from the initial pursuit of the projects, selection, design services procurement and negotiation of contracts.
Convert the owners’ vision into a constructible design solution within the overall project scope, budget, and schedule.

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Estimating or Equivalent Field.
High-level knowledge of construction and design industries.
Adaptable to change based on collaborative feedback.
Must work independently and with teams and possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Strong innovative mindset.
Ability to make decisions and problem solve effectively especially when under pressure or when faced with unexpected changes, situations, or unforeseen delays.
Minimum of 10 Years of related construction industry experience (general contracting, design build firm, architecture firm, engineering firm, etc.)
High degree of business acumen and decisiveness required.
Must demonstrate leadership at a senior level and the ability to develop a followership to influence change.
Demonstrated computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs, understanding in AutoCad.
Strong presentation, public speaking, and facilitation skills.
