Tasks
-Provide feedback and input into process improvement within the department -Manage, maintain, and deploy tooling when developing programs -Recommend improvements to reduce production costs while maintaining high quality standards -Generate setup sheets -Program, organize, log, update and maintain new and existing part files to the latest rev. level -Reduce setup and punching/bending times through process improvements -Ensure input and output department files are completed in a timely manner -Use Solid Works file packages to generate CNC code for punches and breaks from solid works models. -Write programs for new products ensuring compliance with all quality policies, solid models, prints, specifications, regulations and instructions -Read and interpret prints and solid models

What You Bring
-Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions -Must be able to effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written -Must be able to read, understand and follow written directions -Must be able to perform basic mathematic computations such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to apply to practical situations. Shop math, geometry and trigonometry -Must be able to interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner -Must have at least 5-10 years of sheet metal experience -Must be able to read, understand and follow department and company policies -Prefer at least 2-5 years’ experience in programming in Tumpf or related CNC software -Must have knowledge of punch tooling -Must be familiar with quality standards (ISO9001) -Prefer at least 3 years operating a turret punch press -Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables -Must have knowledge of brake tooling -Must be able to communicate positively and effectively with employees in other departments -Experience with Solid Works PDM is preferred -Must be able to troubleshoot and advise solutions regarding machining, work holding solutions and speeds and feeds -Engineering degree a plus -Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings -Experience in calculating K factors and bend allowances into flat patterns -Experience with Solid Works is required -Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is required -High school diploma or equivalent required
