Description

The job holder ensures customer satisfaction by delivering quality servicing and repairs on all body‑related components of commercial trucks and buses, following the manufacturers’ specifications.

• Identify customer requests and refine diagnostics with supervisor/foreman.
• Perform work following manufacturer methods to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Communicate check results and request assistance from foreman; assist technicians as needed.
• Follow safety rules for equipment, instruments, and products to prevent accidents.
• Meet productivity standards by adhering to foreman's work time guidelines.
• Proactively perform minor unrequested work to enhance customer service.
• Diagnose and correct electrical problems using manuals, blueprints, and catalogs.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical/electronic components, piping, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Adjust electrical devices or control instruments using appropriate tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, download vehicle software, and perform engine, transmission, HVAC, and mechanical repairs including road testing.
• Select appropriate tools and equipment for each job.
• Apply health and safety policies to protect self, team, and property.

Requirements

• Hold at least a high school diploma; preferably a 3‑year diploma or 2‑year ITI in automobile.
• Possess 7 years experience in an auto service center managing a technician team.
• Know machines and tools, their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Skilled in repairing mechanical and electrical components of commercial vehicles.
