Understanding legal rights and obligations for pipelines and sites, including managing third-party encroachments or unauthorised activity on SGN land and easements. This may involve supporting legal teams with enforcement or recovery actions.
A full UK driving licence is essential, along with a willingness to travel periodically.
Ideally, you’ll hold an engineering degree. However, equivalent experience and demonstrable skills will be considered.
A good understanding of SGN’s policies, management procedures, and the Safety Management Framework.
Familiarity with IGEM standards and relevant legislation.
Broad knowledge of the UK gas industry.
Knowledge of the gas transmission and distribution systems, and their interdependencies.
Professional registration (CEng or IEng) is advantageous, but candidates committed to achieving this are encouraged to apply.
