The engineer will be responsible for leading electrical design, developing balance‑of‑plant systems, and creating grid‑connection solutions for energy‑storage installations. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients is essential to ensure quality and innovation. The role also includes supporting bidding activities, project management and quality assurance across multiple large‑scale programmes.
Candidates should have consultancy, contractor, equipment manufacturer or utility experience in the energy sector, with strong knowledge of renewable generation and battery storage technologies. Experience designing MV/HV grid connections, metering, control and protection systems is required, along with a client‑focused mindset and ability to work across multiple projects. A degree in Electrical Engineering, project‑management understanding, and familiarity with design and construction review are preferred, as are professional registration and software proficiency (AutoCAD, ETAP, DigSILENT, etc.).
