Support the VP in managing all phases of U2C and other innovation projects, including planning, design, procurement, and implementation.
Identify and evaluate new technologies and strategic partnerships to advance JTA’s innovation agenda.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and recommendations to VP and senior leadership.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery, technology adoption, and operational efficiency.
Represent the VP in meetings, public forums, and stakeholder engagements as needed.
Identify funding opportunities and strategies to secure required funding for all associated capital initiatives resulting from the development of the U2C program.

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, or a related management degree.
A track record in budget management, stewardship and developing proven strategies to build multi-faceted external affairs and development programs.
Skill managing projects in an effective and timely manner.
Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to include strong presentation skills.
Experience with automated transit systems, smart mobility solutions, or advanced transportation technologies.

PMP certification or equivalent
Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic-thinking skills with demonstrated ability to create, implement and monitor complex plans, translate those plans into actionable goals, and develop sound methods and strategies for implementation.
Skill developing, preparing and monitoring budgets for multiple departments.
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively increased responsibility as a manager of a substantial transit/transportation engineering and construction program, with a sound knowledge of new transportation technologies.
Demonstrated ability to develop a dedicated work team, with a focus on collaboration, mentoring, nurturing, and the delivery of exceeded goals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Must have a proven track record of successfully managing the planning, design, development, and production schedules for major program, and completing projects within budget and on time.
