As a Paint Sprayer, you will be an integral part of the OC‑BWI Distribution production team, collaborating with teammates to customize doors and parts to customer specifications and prepare them for shipment.
The role involves standing for up to ten hours, climbing ladders, performing repetitive motions, lifting up to 50 lb, and tolerating temperature extremes and noise, while handling raw materials and finished goods safely.
- Operate airless pumps and HVLP sprayers to apply finishes to interior and exterior doors and parts.
- Perform pre‑checks and routine maintenance on spray equipment.
- Read and interpret work orders to determine color, size, and type specifications.
- Verify accuracy of parts and materials before spraying.
- Conduct visual quality inspections before and after spraying.
- Mix paint and transfer it between containers as needed.
- Load doors onto conveyor systems and place them in ovens for curing.
- Collaborate with team members to handle and flip doors for complete coverage.
- Assist with material preparation and safe handling of chemicals, paint, and unframed glass.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform general housekeeping tasks.
- Support door repairs and maintain product knowledge.
- Safely move components and report issues to leadership.
- Climb and descend stairs or ladders as needed.
- Perform repetitive hand, arm, leg movements; bend, twist, squat, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lb.
- Handle, control, and feel raw materials and finished goods safely.

Successful team members are at least 18 years old, work safely, show initiative, communicate clearly in English, multitask, and adapt to both independent and team environments. Basic math and tape‑measure skills are required, and prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Wear required personal protective equipment such as steel‑toed shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, and high‑visibility clothing.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work safely following plant rules.
- Demonstrate initiative, self‑starting attitude, and clear English communication.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and as part of a team, with end‑of‑shift flexibility.
- Read a tape measure and perform basic math.
- Preferably one year of manufacturing experience.
- Stand for 8–10 hours continuously.
- Withstand temperature extremes and elevated noise levels.

The Paint Sprayer position is located at 2689 US-522, Selinsgrove, PA, working Monday‑Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime as needed. The hourly rate is $19.00 plus the aforementioned benefits.
