- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Follow various DOT Standards and work with companies CAD Standards when applicable
- Produce documents with MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Work with engineering team in developing preliminary and final design plans and details
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

- Use Bentley Micro Station / AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software; ORD experience preferred
- Proficiency in Micro Station
- Associate Degree or high school diploma
- Knowledge of engineering principles and materials for MOT / highway work
- The ability to clearly communicate and collaborate well with Engineers, Designers and Construction team
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Design experience or Design-Build project experience a plus
- Knowledge in AutoCAD a plus
- 12+ years’ experience in CAD production of highway and civil designs
- 5+ years’ MOT or traffic design / delivery experience
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Ability to lead, mentor and inspire Junior team members
- Ability to Travel up to 25% of the time to Office or Site
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Critical thinking skills necessary with the ability to plan and conceptualize
- Read and understand construction documents
- Knowledge of 3D modeling a plus
