- Collaborate with engineering, procurement and project management teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimating
- Review technical specification, input documentation, drawings and attend project meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of a commissioning estimate
- Participate in project risk workshops and stakeholder meetings Present estimates, assumptions and documentation to management review panel
- Maintains focus to high quality work.
- Preparing commissioning estimates in support of the investment approval process
- Learn estimating functions and the function it plays within the project life cycle

- Good Academic Standing (A copy of your Official/Unofficial Transcript)
- A University undergraduate degree in Engineering (Electrical), Power and Energy Engineering Technology, or related field of study
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills that ensure the audience can grasp sophisticated (or simple) technical information/ideas.
- A copy of your most recent Transcript (Official/Unofficial)
- Fundamental knowledge of power systems and their protection and control systems
- You have graduated with your bachelor's degree in 2024, 2025 or will graduate by May 2026
- Previous Co-op/Internship experience in a relevant field and industry is considered an asset
- Initiative-taking, safety-conscious, cost-conscious, customer oriented, advanced time management, collaborative and able to work independently and carry the work with minimum supervision.
- Valid, permanent driver's license (Ontario Class G)
- A self-motivated individual with an aptitude for learning. Leadership skills gained through extracurricular activities or other experience in a dynamic team environment.
- Or, you are currently completing a master's degree in a related field, you are graduating by May 2026, and have a maximum of 1 year between completing your bachelor's degree and enrolling in your master's program.
- Familiar with general engineering project life cycles and processes.
- Ability to take initiative, solve complex problems with a customer orientation, adapt to changing environments, and think of out of box innovative solutions.
- Familiar with project management practices
- Attention to details, quality driven in day-to-day, routine, or complex tasks, maintains focus to ensure high quality work.
- Familiar with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate and SAP is an asset.
