Creation of calculation models describing the cooling air supply of hot gas path components in a gas turbine and evaluation of the corresponding results
Evaluation of model results and derivation of design-relevant conclusions
Evaluation of operational data and findings from prototypes and the existing fleet

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable
Good technical knowledge of mechanical engineering, heat transfer and fluid mechanics
Work experience in the field of heat transfer and fluid mechanics and ideally with cooling air systems and the clearance design for gas turbines
Intercultural working experience in global teams is advantageous

Application of in-house and commercial calculation software for:
Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
