The purpose of this role is to implement and maintain the HSSE management system across the business, ensuring that all Al Rostamani Group HSSE requirements are met in line with UAE regulations and corporate standards.
- Develop, review, and update HSSE policies, SOPs, and guidelines in compliance with UAE federal and emirate-specific regulations.
- Communicate policies effectively to employees at all levels.
- Coordinate with service centre, workshop, body shop, spare parts, logistics, sales, and marketing departments to embed HSSE requirements into daily operations.
- Ensure ARG HSSE documentation is maintained according to corporate requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement controls.
- Monitor compliance with UAE environmental, safety, and security standards and advise on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, corrective actions, and compliance documents.
- Lead or assist in incident investigations to determine root causes and develop corrective/preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit incident reports, communicating lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
- Track and follow up on incident corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
- Develop and deliver HSSE training programs for employees and contractors.
- Organize periodic emergency drills and ensure readiness of response teams.
- Promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Implement environmental protection and pollution prevention measures in line with UAE regulations.
- Monitor and control hazardous waste disposal from workshops and related areas.
- Support sustainability initiatives such as energy conservation and recycling.
- Coordinate with security teams to ensure robust access control and security systems across facilities.
- Participate in security risk assessments and assist in implementing protective measures.
- Liaise with government authorities, municipalities, and external stakeholders for inspections, permits, and certifications.
- Collaborate with department heads across the five emirates to maintain consistent HSSE standards.
- Provide regular HSSE performance updates to management and recommend continuous improvement strategies.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, fire and safety, or a related discipline, and possess relevant certifications such as NEBOSH IGC and ISO lead auditor credentials. They should have 3–5 years of HSSE experience in the automotive, logistics, manufacturing or industrial sectors and be familiar with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Fire and Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC (Level 03) certification.
- IOSH Managing Safely or OSHAD Practitioner certification (advantage).
- First Aid – Level 03 and Fire Safety – Level 02 certifications.
- ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certifications (plus).
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSSE experience, preferably in automotive, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations and relevant international standards.
