Description

Supervisors become respected road‑safety heroes, providing a familiar and supportive presence for children, parents, teachers and motorists. The role involves two one‑hour shifts each school day—morning (8:30‑9:30 am) and afternoon (2:30‑3:30 pm)—totaling about 20 hours per fortnight.

• Supervise school crossings for two one‑hour shifts per day (8:30‑9:30 am and 2:30‑3:30 pm), Monday‑Friday (~20 hrs/fortnight).
• Ensure the safety of children, parents, teachers, and motorists in the school zone.
• Provide a friendly, recognizable presence for families and the school community.
• Obtain Working with Children Check, police check, reference checks, and health assessment (assistance provided).

Requirements

Ideal candidates are community‑focused, reliable, and able to work in all weather conditions. They must be 18 years or older, possess strong communication skills, stay alert to hazards, and be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, police check, reference checks and a health assessment.
