Monitors progress of development project and compares actual costs with estimates.
Reviews and studies existing equipment, facilities, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
Works with design group to modify plans as appropriate if problems arise.
Assesses vendors for competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status.
Uses team management skills to lead the design group during the conceptual phase of product development following CPH and client’s standards and templates.
Cooperates with project engineers from other plants to share similar Supervision and support in consolidating construction plans across all disciplines and coordinating submissions to regulatory agencies.
Periodic travel to perform business development, project management, site investigations, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation or review of subsequent reports and exhibits.
Prepares monthly reports, detailing progress, and costs for next level management.
Directs development of an action plan and estimates requirements for resources management, labor, materials, and time required to complete project.
Lead/ manage the planning, design, and production of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with goals, schedules, and budget.
Development of technical specifications, evaluation of shop drawings, and oversight of construction administration duties as the Engineer of Record.

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a P.E. License in the state of Florida. Ability to obtain additional state licensure through reciprocity is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software’s platforms.
Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
Proficiency in REVIT is required. AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Suite experience is a plus.
Ability to effectively multi-task while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
Comfortable working and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent oral, written and organizational skills.
At least 8+ years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering firm.
