Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications
Interact and train customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems
Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner
Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld
Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers
Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians
Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects
Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming
Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets

Technical training and 3+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience
Competency in operation of engineering/commissioning tools, DDC controllers and field devices, BACnet protocol fundamentals
Experience in BAS, HVAC, or related industry
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
Current first aid / CPR card
Ability to read low voltage wiring diagrams and controls flow diagrams
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
High School Diploma or GED
Factory Certified Training, Online Training Courses, or other professional on the job training in the Building Automation and HVAC Industry
Strong computer skills, including computer networking fundamentals
