- Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives within the production control department
- Collaborate with the sales and dispatch teams to prioritize customer orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Work with yard managers to optimize the storage and rotation of finished product
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Oversee the management of raw material stock and finished goods inventory
- Conduct performance evaluations, set clear expectations, and foster a team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality
- Monitor raw material levels (e.g., aggregates, cement, admixtures) and coordinate with the production teams to prevent shortages
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for all concrete block/hardscape-making machines
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance to minimize unscheduled downtime
- Implement strategies to minimize waste and breakage during the production and curing processes
- Adjust schedules in real-time to account for equipment maintenance, unexpected downtime, or changes in customer orders
- Generate and present reports on production output, on-time delivery, and inventory status to management
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production planners and operations coordinators
- Analyze production data, including machine uptime, cycle times, and scrap rates, to identify areas for efficiency improvements

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with significant experience in **concrete related manufacturing**
- Proven experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
- Deep understanding of the concrete batching, molding, and curing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting
- Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling software
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make quick, data-driven decisions
