The role is responsible for managing customer project orders in the Southeast region, encompassing the full project lifecycle—from initiation, planning, execution, control, to closeout. The incumbent confirms customer requirements, aligns drawings, specifications and bill of materials, and handles the complete job process from order preparation through manufacturing release, shipment, post‑shipment support and financial reconciliation, leveraging knowledge of Schneider Electric products.
Responsibilities include partnering with Field Sales or senior project managers to review and validate purchase orders and bills of material, acting as the lead customer contact, validating project schedules, conducting kickoff meetings, and communicating expectations. The position monitors execution by coordinating with internal manufacturing facilities and third‑party vendors, verifies task completion, reports schedule status and resolves issues. At closeout, the individual ensures financial reconciliation, equipment arrival, installation, start‑up and training completion, and coordinates with field services and after‑shipment support. The role also proposes alternate products that add value and resolves customer problems to strengthen relationships, applying a solid foundation of Schneider Electric product knowledge.
Successful candidates will have a four‑year engineering degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience; industry experience is a plus. Required skills include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, multitasking, fast‑paced work capability, time‑management, proficiency with Windows, and standard business applications such as MS Office, Excel and Access. CAPM certification is advantageous.
The position requires working in the office three days per week.
The compensation range for this U.S.-based full-time position is $80,640 – $120,960 per year, including base pay and short-term incentive. Pay is set within the range based on performance, skills, experience and education.
