Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Construction Survey Leader will perform various land surveying functions on projects throughout Wisconsin.

  • Oversee and develop survey team members to maximize their potential
  • Complete the monthly financial reporting workflows for construction survey related tasks
  • Operate land surveying tools (GNSS & Robotic Total Station)
  • Prepare construction survey, machine control fee proposals, manage scope, budget and staffing needs
  • Lead construction survey and grade setting best practices training efforts
  • Monitor performance data to maintain realistic production rates for survey tasks
  • Manage 3D machine control model development standards and review machine control models
  • Prepare construction staking setups using AutoCAD Civil3D & Trimble Business Center
  • Be involved in innovative, cool projects throughout the local area and the state.

This position is located at Payne & Dolan's Waukesha, WI office, with the expected work to occur throughout Wisconsin. Regular travel is required.

  • Must have Professional Land Surveyor License
