Daily activities may occur in the field or in an HDR office and include photographic documentation, written reports, and oral communication with contractors, engineers, owners, and private citizens. The role may require extensive outdoor work and reliable transportation to rural job sites, and it is subject to a pre‑employment drug test.
Preferred qualifications include enrollment in a BS or MS program in Construction Management or a related engineering discipline, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated interest or experience in the construction industry. Coursework in construction management or engineering, and experience with Microsoft Office and Procore (or similar) are also valued, with preference given to local candidates.
Required qualifications are current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, attention to detail, strong problem‑solving and communication abilities, basic Microsoft Office skills, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture.
