  • Track and report impact metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of cove’s architectural solutions.
  • Support project handoffs to ensure seamless client experience and internal coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal architecture and research teams to co-create tailored solutions.
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover client goals, pain points, and sustainability targets.
  • Win your first project and guide a client through our consulting process
  • Identify and secure high-value architectural consulting opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, real estate teams, and design-build partners.
  • Manage your pipeline and CRM (HubSpot) with rigor and precision.
  • Sit in on client meetings with senior consultants to see our process in action
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Represent cove at conferences, client events, and through thought leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with at least 10 key decision-makers
  • Help improve our services or internal processes by contributing to a company-wide project
  • Start building a list of potential clients and opportunities in your region
  • Exceed your sales goals by delivering real value to your clients
  • Craft proposals that clearly communicate ROI and value-add from energy savings, design performance, and reduced delivery timelines.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to inform business strategy and client outreach.
  • Lead multi-stakeholder engagement strategies for projects ranging from $150K–$1M+.

You bring a consultative approach to business development, a deep understanding of the architecture and construction ecosystem, and a passion for sustainable innovation. You thrive in complex sales environments and are energized by turning big ideas into successful engagements.

  • Learn how cove uses AI to improve architecture and sustainability
  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills.
  • 2–4 years of experience of successful full cycle sales experience
  • Background in architecture, engineering, construction, or design-build.
  • Familiarity with building performance metrics and sustainability standards.
  • Existing relationships in the real estate or design industries.
  • Be recognized as a go-to expert in architecture and sustainability
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, consultative engagements.
  • Strategic thinker with tactical execution skills.
  • Proven experience engaging with senior decision-makers and navigating long sales cycles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
