- Identify historic and precontact artifacts correctly

- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Be able to operate a vehicle day or night
- Candidates must also have good organizational skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and execute new tasks
- Must be able to record cultural resources in the field without any physical assistance (this could include hiking short distances in scrub and native vegetation and uneven ground conditions in high temperatures)
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Must have (or able to obtain) a valid Texas Driver’s License
- Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions (e.g., rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures).
- Complete field forms accurately and concisely
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
- Attention to detail a must
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Work hours other than 8 to 5 which may include weekends and/or night shifts
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History, History or closely related fields
