- Work as part of a project team and interface with managers, design engineers, U.S. Navy civilian engineers, and equipment manufacturers.
- Use CAD software to assess replacement components, design updated mounting brackets, and update tube‑assembly layouts, producing 3D models and 2D drawings (Creo Parametric v8.0).
- Support system‑level testing by installing replacement components into the RAST mock‑up to verify form, fit, and function.
- Develop, maintain, and update Creo templates and format files to ensure consistency with organizational and customer standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to understand requirements and deliver accurate technical documentation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hydraulics and piping systems, have utilized hydraulic schematics and P&IDs, have an understanding of pumps and motors, and have experience in the use of Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software. - At least 2 years of drafting or CAD design experience.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining solid models/drawings in Creo.
- Knowledge of engineering drawing standards.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with military standards (preferred).
- Background in mechanical or systems design (preferred).
