As Head of Projects, you’ll lead a regional team of Project Managers delivering commercial, institutional, and corporate build-outs across the DC metro area. You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.

• Navigate and resolve complex challenges with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
• Lead and mentor a team of project management professionals delivering projects across diverse sectors.
• Serve as the strategic partner to clients, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.
• Implement best practices for project delivery, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from preconstruction planning through closeout.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

A leading global real estate and project delivery firm is seeking a Head of Projects to oversee a high-performing project management team in the Washington, DC region. This is a senior leadership role for a results-driven construction professional with a strong background in general contracting and a proven ability to deliver complex projects from concept through completion.

We’re seeking someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments — a leader who can break through obstacles, challenge the status quo, and inspire teams to perform at their best.

• 15+ years of experience in construction and project delivery, ideally with a General Contractor background.
• Proven ability to manage multiple project teams and small, or large-scale initiatives.
• Strong leadership presence — able to influence, motivate, and drive accountability.
• Sales mindedness, with strong financial knowledge and P&L management experience
• Adept at balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement when needed.

Base Salary: Up to $175,000 + Bonus (Up to 40%)
