Produce structural calculations, designs and drawings for buildings and civil structures
Provide informal guidance and design checking for junior engineers and technicians
Carry out site inspections and surveys where required
Manage individual project tasks and maintain accurate documentation
Prepare reports, design notes, specifications and supporting documents
Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients and internal engineers

Strong working knowledge of UK design standards and Building Regs
Competent in steel, concrete, masonry and timber
Familiar with structural analysis software and common CAD tools
Ideally 8+ years of relevant structural design experience
Reliable, detail focused and comfortable working independently
Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
