Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
Attend any further training courses as required at other EGGER UK locations.
Provide support for holiday/ sickness/ training/ maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency when required.
Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the lamination department, to include boards/paper preparation, pressing, inspections, banding, fork truck and general warehouse duties.
Operate as a member of the team in the Lamination department.
Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or problems.
Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported
Complete shift reports detailing production, downtime, to include any specific data required relevant to shift. Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and Day Support with regard to the operations of the shift.
