Group Transfer Pricing Manager

Description

• Identify improvement activities in relation to the performance of the Group Transfer Pricing team as well as wider Group Tax function
• Liaise with key contacts in local and overseas Finance teams to build efficient communication channels and networks that guarantee swift identification of potential transfer pricing issues
• Work with Legal and local Finance teams to ensure smooth roll out of intercompany agreements, and other related documentation
• Assist and own global and local technical transfer pricing projects
• Undertake data gathering and analysis to present transfer pricing-related information to local tax authorities, including significant collaboration with Finance, Tax, and other business functions
• Oversee global transfer pricing compliance, engaging with Finance/Tax teams and/orlocal third party consultants, ensuring timely and accurate preparation in line withOECD and local requirements
• Partner with business units to proactively identify transfer pricing risks and opportunities
• Provide an ad-hoc transfer pricing advice as and when requested by the Group
• Work with external advisors and local consultants to support ongoing assessments and transfer pricing compliance
• Manage, implement and maintain group transfer pricing policies

Requirements

• Experience with preparation of OECD compliant transfer pricing documentation
• Basic understanding of international tax concepts (e.g. WHT, PE, DTT)
• A team player with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment
• Experience with data processing and AI tools preferred (e.g. Alteryx)
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment with often ambiguous and rapidly changing priorities
• Experience with transfer pricing compliance and controversy in India (dealing with tax assessments and audits)
• Minimum 5 years of transfer pricing experience gained in a consulting environment,preferably in Big4 firm or an in-house transfer pricing / international tax role In amultinational environment
• Experience of handling global TP compliances, audit and advisory assignments.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who takes ownership of projects
• Project planning and management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships across all levels ofthe organization and work well with people at all levels of seniority
• Professional qualification (e.g. Chartered Accountant) with a strong academicbackground
• Agile working
• Advanced English communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to extract, analyse, and review qualitative and quantitative data and information with the ability to present results of the analyses to senior stakeholders
