While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with their hands and arms; and communicate verbally. The employee frequently walks, stands and occasionally sits.
Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed.
Contact carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for loading products.
Accurately select and place flooring product orders on pallets, then shrink-wrap each pallet to ensure secure handling of heavy materials.
Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents and maintain related data.
Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations.
Collect documentation for outbound freight and route it to the appropriate record-keeping unit.
Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise.

Forklift experience is a plus.

One (1) year of warehouse experience required.
Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

Proficiency with a tablet or iPad.
