Maitre d'/Dining Services Supervisor

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring a high‑quality dining experience by greeting residents and guests, overseeing service staff and interacting with residents and guests while maintaining a safe and sanitary dining environment.

• Supervise daily operation of dining rooms, room service, and convenience store.
• Respond quickly to resident and guest needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Deliver room service orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Open dining rooms smoothly and on schedule each day.
• Assist in creating weekly staff schedules within budget guidelines.
• Maintain adequate staffing for each shift and cover absences as needed.
• Lead training for all new dining room employees.
• Support service staff during mealtime when required.
• Oversee resident billing for food service charges.
• Manage overall dining staff performance.

Requirements

Applicants should have at least six months of food‑service experience, possess ServSafe or equivalent certification, and demonstrate the ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and lead new staff with a respectful and professional demeanor.

• Minimum 6 months of food service experience required.
• ServSafe or other local certification is required.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Patience and effective communication with diverse personalities.
