Senior & Lead Electrical Designers & Engineers

Description

• Provide quality oversight, including conducting and/or issuing final quality reviews to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Develop solutions to advanced and highly complex engineering problems, providing discipline-wide technical guidance.
• Participate in or lead staffing recommendations, training initiatives, and technical strategy development.
• Collaboration & Inclusion: Resolves conflict with diplomacy, promotes inclusive teamwork, and contributes to a collaborative environment.
• Lead or support strategic business development efforts and maintain key client and partner relationships.
• Quality & Accountability: Drives high-quality outcomes, holds others accountable, and reinforces standards across the discipline.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned, ensuring technical accuracy, accountability, and adherence to professional standards.
• Communicate with clients, resolve conflicts, and provide leadership in responding to technical questions or design challenges.
• Innovation & Professional Responsibility: Encourages innovation, maintains financial and technical responsibility, and stays current with industry advancements.
• Coaching & Development: Mentors talent across the discipline, fosters continuous learning, and cultivates constructive feedback loops.
• Direct or oversee the preparation of design documents, system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for complex or large-scale projects.
• Serve as a mentor and coach across teams and practices, including supervising less experienced designers and engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural) and 10+ years of relevant experience
• Additional technical certifications (e.g., RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, WELL) highly preferred.
• Emergency Egress Illumination
• Fault Current & Overcurrent Coordination Studies
• Arc Flash Studies
• Leadership & Influence: Inspires organizational culture, models integrity, and navigates ambiguity while motivating others.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required for EOR’s.
• Advanced to expert proficiency in electrical engineering design, applicable codes and standards, Revit, Bluebeam, and construction processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discipline coordination and manage complex or large-scale project scopes.
