The Investigator supervises all internal investigations within the facility as assigned by facility management, the Facility Support Center, or the Legal Department. Responsibilities include conducting investigations of staff misconduct, grievances, facility incidents, policy violations, and felonies committed by inmates or staff, as well as serving as a liaison to contract partners and law enforcement agencies.
The role requires collecting, preserving, and securing evidence in line with policy, maintaining chain of custody, responding to subpoenas, and providing legal testimony in court or administrative hearings when necessary.
- Supervise all internal investigations assigned by management or legal.
- Conduct investigations of staff misconduct, including contractors, consultants, and volunteers.
- Investigate grievances, facility incidents, policy violations, and felonies by inmates or staff.
- Liaise with contract partners and law‑enforcement agencies, sharing findings and intelligence.
- Collect, preserve, and secure evidence to prevent tampering and maintain chain of custody.
- Respond to subpoenas and provide testimony in court or administrative hearings.
