Project Supervisor

Description

We are seeking a Project Supervisor to join our team in Jasper, TX. In this role you will assist the Construction Manager and team for aerial and underground construction, handling administrative functions, preparing reports, providing customer service, and performing other duties as needed by the department.

The Project Supervisor ensures projects adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards while coordinating labor, materials, and permitting requirements.

They also support quality control, path planning, and maintain network and asset knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.

• Conduct daily field visits to verify safety, quality control, and productivity standards
• Drive projects through systems for final development and budgeting
• Define labor, material, permitting needs, infrastructure nodes, and connection points
• Manage path planning reviews, including site pictures and asset integration
• Support on‑site quality control checks, job hazard analysis, and safety audits
• Participate in developing project packets and new project proposals
• Manage multiple project stages and keep systems and records updated
• Maintain network and asset knowledge for aerial and underground assets

Requirements

The role requires 3–5 years of fiber optic cabling experience, including running, blowing, and splicing, as well as familiarity with aerial and underground telecommunications construction. Candidates should possess strong customer service, time management, problem‑solving, and communication skills, be able to travel up to 50% (including overnight), lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in various outdoor conditions.

• Provide excellent daily customer experience
• 3–5 years experience with fiber optic cabling (running, blowing, splicing)
• Experience in aerial and underground telecommunications construction and network operations
• Subcontractor partner management experience (preferred)
• Background in analytics, economics, budgeting, or project management (preferred)
• Ability to read maps, drawings, and diagrams for project builds
• Strong customer service, time management, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with software systems and effective communication with internal/external customers
• Ability to travel up to 50% with possible overnight stays; flexible schedule including evenings/weekends
• Capability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work in tight, elevated, or varied terrain conditions
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; pass MVR, background check, and drug screen
