Site Engineer -Waterproofing

To supervise and manage waterproofing works on construction sites, ensuring that all installations, materials, and workmanship meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Plan, execute, and monitor all waterproofing activities on site according to project specifications and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and waterproofing details prior to execution.
• Conduct site tests (e.g., ponding tests, adhesion tests) to verify performance of waterproofing systems.
• Support material approval process by coordinating with suppliers and the technical team.
• Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain accurate records of work done and material usage.
• Supervise waterproofing applicators, laborers, and subcontractors on site.
• Inspect and verify waterproofing works to ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
• Ensure proper surface preparation before application and monitor the correct use of waterproofing materials.

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems (bituminous membrane, polyurethane, acrylic coatings, crystalline, injection, etc.).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in waterproofing works (roof, basement, wet areas, podiums, etc.).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong site supervision and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality and inspection procedures (method statements, ITPs).
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
