
*Ensuring Quality Assurance: Conduct site reviews and inspections of transportation structures, guaranteeing the highest quality of construction.
*Crafting Cutting-Edge Designs: Review draft designs to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and firm policies, updating design requirements as necessary.
*Client Collaboration: Work closely with sales staff to develop proposals that meet current and potential clients' unique needs, fostering strong client relationships.
*Continuous Learning and Development: Attend conferences and symposia to stay current on industry trends and innovations while providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
*You'll be at the forefront of innovative roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
*Roadway hydraulic design experience.
*Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
*This position has the flexibility to work in either Chattanooga, Knoxville, or Nashville, TN. Travel to the Knoxville, TN office will be required.
*Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
*Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
*10 years of related experience.
*Professional engineering (PE) license.
