Prepare reports with design and verification calculations for all structural works within the Scope, Budget, and Schedule.
Verification of drawings to ensure that these match with engineering performed.
Develop various concepts for design and advise on the most suitable solution for the problem.

First point of contact during the construction and fabrication of the designed items.
Initiate and document good engineering practices, tools, and departmental standards.

class rules
Recognized MSc or BSc Degree in Marine and Mechanical.
Extensive knowledge of Class rules for vessels (LR, BV, ABS), offshore structures (DNV, API), and Operational guidelines (DNVGL) used by MWS.
Proven expertise in FEA tools, with advanced skills in Ansys and scripting/automation via Python (PyAnsys). Skills in FEMAP, RFEM and Mathcad are also appreciated.
Your Typical Deliverables: Sea fastening analyses, Global Hull Analyses, Lifting point verification, Global strength verifications of vessels, Jackets and Topsides, On Bottom Stability analyses, Strongpoint verifications, Deck load diagrams, etc.
Able to write Basis of Design, Design Briefs, and specifications.
5+ years of relevant experience in engineering in the Offshore field, Practical Offshore experience.
A good command of spoken English and academic reporting skills.
Strong insight into constructability with practical shipyard and offshore considerations.
