Safety Specialists collaborate with field staff, clients, subcontractors, and managers throughout all phases of electric construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulations. The position is location‑based, covering worksites across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas, and requires regular travel, including weekly overnight stays.

- Conduct regular site visits to observe safety behaviors and document conditions across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
- Develop and coordinate site‑specific safety plans with Operations teams.
- Participate in project kickoff, progress, and safety meetings to review hazard analyses.
- Ensure client‑specific safety programs align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Verify compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and occupational health regulations.
- Coach and mentor on‑site personnel on safe work practices and behavior.
- Perform behavior‑based safety observations and PPE hazard assessments.
- Schedule and facilitate employee trainings, including new‑hire orientation, OSHA ETD refresher, and post‑incident training.
- Lead accident and injury investigations, performing root‑cause analysis.
- Support incident case management and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Assist safety committees by analyzing performance trends and recommending process improvements.
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics.
