Pricing Analyst

Description

• Manage monthly and forward load forecasts by LDC.
• Communicate all conditions related to changes in programs, tariffs & market dynamics.
• Verify the accuracy of aggregated load activity.
• Verify and update all non-commodity adders as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with Wholesale Operations, Product Control, and Risk to provide forward book, monthly forecast, and P&L data.
• Maintain precise COG generation for Capacity Assigned LDCs.
• Collaborate with business, utilities, and wholesale operations to optimize supply resources.
• Coordinate with Wholesale Operations on all basis blends and market dynamics related to each LDC.
• Verify and maintain deal capture within all systems.
• Provide expertise on LDC tariff provisions and rate classes.
• Manage LDC True Ups & Cash outs.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of natural gas markets is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience with a demonstrated understanding of gas markets (a plus).
• Strong quantitative analytical, problem-solving, and research skills with quality decision-making ability.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Macros, and database management.
• HS Diploma
• Minimum of 2-4 years of business experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in capacity configurations and modeling.
