As a brand ambassador for Habitat for Humanity, the associate works closely with managers to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer and donation drop‑off experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing donations, stocking, pricing, cleaning, cashiering, and merchandising.
Key duties involve engaging customers in sales conversations, answering questions, handling transactions, and physically assisting shoppers with items up to 50 lb. The associate also supports daily store operations, helps meet sales targets, displays merchandise to maximize shoppability, and ensures the store and warehouse remain safe, clean, and organized.
Qualifications include at least two years of retail or customer‑service experience, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, and a self‑starter attitude with good time management. Candidates must treat others ethically, follow safety protocols, and be comfortable using office equipment, social media, and tools such as forklifts and hand carts.
The role requires continuous physical activity such as bending, standing, lifting, and reaching, with the ability to lift up to 50 lb and occasional team lifts.
