The job requires approximately 75 % travel throughout the Upper Midwest, and the company supplies a company vehicle, hotels, meals, and paid drive time to cover essential expenses.
Technicians work 50-60 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and must be able to lift over 50 pounds, work at heights above 20 feet, and operate forklifts and scissor lifts. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required, while obtaining a CDL is encouraged but not mandatory at hire.
All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check, and the company conducts a thorough investigation of personal, employment, education, financial, and medical history as part of the hiring process.
The Door Installation Technician role offers a starting wage of $25-$35 per hour, with the potential to earn $70,000-$100,000 annually. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a career change and enjoys varied assignments that typically last one to two days.
