Represent project team in client communications and resolutions.
Define and determine project specifications and budget construction cost estimating.
Address comments from clients, AHJ's & other review authorities; adjust designs accordingly.
Accurately produce the project construction documents to meet milestone schedules within a predetermined hourly budget.
Conduct field observations visits to accurately document the existing field conditions.
Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships.
Complete electrical calculations not limited to load studies, voltage drop, panel/transformer/feeder loading, generator sizing, illumination levels, etc.
Attend coordination and design meetings, as needed.
Design/layout of electrical system devices, distribution components, lighting, fire alarm and special systems applicable to the project type.
Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially on highly complex assignments. Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.
Organize/prioritize multiple tasks to complete the design in a sequential efficient manner.
Responsible for more complex tasks and/or designs within project assignments.
Oversee designs through project construction/completion.
Communicate effectively with engineers, project manager, and the client.

Possess and continue to develop a working knowledge of all codes applicable to the discipline.
Five or more (5+) years of relevant industry-related experience in power infrastructure design for mission critical, laboratory and technically complex buildings. Medium voltage experience is desired.
Occasional pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Self-reliance and ability to operate independently with limited direction.
Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Occasional mobility around a job/construction site to include walking, bending, crawling, climbing, squatting, or kneeling and wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Possess and continue to develop a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.
Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
EIT and LEED accreditation preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Apply broad knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT software, SKM software tools, and/or Lighting Design software (i.e., AGI, Visual, etc.).
Ability to effectively manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
