  • Facilitate effective communication between engineering, project management, and customer service teams.
  • Oversee and manage the document control processes to ensure the integrity and accessibility of engineering information throughout the project team.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on document control and customer communication best practices and support those teams to deliver best practice for the project.
  • Work on exciting cutting-edge technology on novel drive system topologies and challenging and exciting global projects.
  • Coordinate customer communications, ensuring the timely and accurate dissemination of engineering information related to projects and programs.
  • Help to administer and maintain the IBM ELM system to support engineering information management.
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient document and information management, focusing on operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with project teams to enhance documentation practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimising information and document management systems.
  • Ensure adherence to data security and privacy standards, especially for confidential and highly confidential information, export-controlled information, and government protectively marked information.

  • Experience in the Naval or defence sector is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • UK Nationality, not dual national, SC Clearance required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in document control and information management within an engineering or technical setting.
  • Familiarity with IBM's Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) system or similar engineering information management system.
