Operating property in a “First Class” manner, with respect to maintenance, staffing, marketing, administration, and general operations, to ensure tenants and customers are provided the highest level of service.
Act as the liaison between property departments to ensure clear and consistent flow of communication is received and disseminated amongst team members.
Assist with management of any building amenities including fitness centre, tenant lounges, and tenant common spaces like bike end of trip and parking areas.
Drive revenue: review and recommend rate increases and marketing programs.
Liaise with other Property Manager to support the oversight of the Property teams to ensure accurate and timely tenant documentation, billings, and collection of receivables.
Oversee parking operations: review of monthly statements and accruals, monthly meetings with operator.
Oversee the accurate entry of budgets, forecasts, and accruals.
Respond to and follow up on all escalated legal and receivables issues / documentation.
Foster positive tenant relations by promptly responding to and addressing daily inquiries, from both tenants and guests regarding the property’s policies and procedures, and all other issues that may arise.
Liaise with Property team to support the preparation and distribution of the annual pre-bill and year-end billings.
Support the execution of the Asset Management and Leasing plans.
Support and coordinate all aspects of the budget, reforecasting, and capital plan with the team and the GM.
Liaise with property team for day-to-day operations.
Supervise, develop, and mentor direct reports: Property Administrator and Accounts Payable.
Review and approval Lease Profiles for Tenant files.
The Property Manager is accountable for the effective day-to-day management of tenant relations and support of various management functions (administration, operations, security, marketing) to facilitate the effective operation of the building.
Review and first approval of lease related payments: work orders, cheque requisitions for tenant incentive/leasehold improvement allowance, payment of broker commissions.
Lease interpretation and ensure adherence to requirements.
Review/approval of annual Tenant billings, prior-year Tenant adjustments, month-over-month billing changes.
Ensure Customer experience initiatives are aligned with property objectives.
Assist in training staff and overseeing tenant move-in and move-out procedures.
Highly competent at Microsoft Office with a strong working knowledge of Excel.

Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to accuracy and detail.
Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines.
Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in office and retail property management.
Completion or working towards an industry designation (RPA, FMA, CPM) is considered an asset.
Extremely multi-tasked oriented with the ability to manage several projects at once.
Project management, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Works well collaborating in a small working group.
Have experience in managing diverse teams and inspiring superior results.
