Run daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for review with Production and Plant Manager
From point of sales order assignment, the P.L. becomes the point of contact for the customer. They must ensure the customer is kept up to date from production schedule to on-site delivery
Review/Update Timecards

Assist in setting up and performing cycle counts for inventory management
Assist in creating and sending PO’s to vendors/suppliers and communicate lead times
Backup / assistance for production scheduling
Lead Projects - being the voice of the customer
Support operations by assisting staff, planning, organizing and implementing administrative systems
Provide direction and oversite to all aspects of the project team: engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement, and accounting
Assist in reconciling production reporting and actual attainment
Communicate with transportation department on the initial delivery needs of the customer and follow up when required
Managing multiple sales orders concurrently
Monitors the progress and status from the point of sales as it moves through the process, and acts to problem solve proactively, offers technical advice, and assists other staff to expedite assigned projects, removes obstacles which may cause a project to fall behind schedule
Propose and assist in implementing office process improvements as identified
Assist in continuous improvement plant initiatives

High School, GED, or Associate degree or equivalent combination of administrative experience, training or education (preferred)
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
Knowledge and understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, scheduling, production methods and coordination of people and resources
Computer skills, including MS Office Suite, accounting software, database software, internet software, payroll systems
Must be able to multitask, be detailed oriented and possess strong organization skills
