Field & Lab Testing: Performing field and laboratory testing on construction materials like concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates.
Team Collaboration & Compliance: Working closely with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Maneuvering field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrow, on uneven ground around active construction sites
Data Interpretation & Reporting: Interpreting test results and preparing detailed reports.
Sample Collection & Prep: Collecting and preparing samples for analysis.

Associate Technician/Technician I: 0-2 years of relevant experience
Math skills with a basic understanding of weight, volume, pressure, and units of measure
Attention to detail and good communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) using the English language
Technician II: 2+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent experience, with an associate degree in a related field
The understanding of a fluctuating schedule and interest in occasional travel
Working outdoors the majority of the time in varying weather conditions
Technician III: 3+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent experience, with an associate degree in a related field
Technician IV: 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior staff, a plus
