The Account Executive is responsible for identifying leads, proactively prospecting, and selling the full suite of Republic Services products—including small and large waste containers, recycling services, and electronic and universal recycling—to new and profitable customers within an assigned geographic area.
Key duties include managing prospects, following up on leads within two hours, leveraging Salesforce daily to document activities, delivering sales presentations, conducting cold‑calling outreach, staying aware of market and competitive trends, and offering comprehensive waste‑stream management solutions to grow revenue.
Preferred candidates have waste or service industry experience, while minimum qualifications require at least two years of direct selling experience in a customer‑facing role and a valid driver’s license.
