Tasks

-Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components. -Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service -Execute company sponsored as well as personally initiated training to ensure the highest level of knowledge and capability are maintained -Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. -Keep management and JCI contractors or customers informed of job progress and issues. -Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training. -Respond to basic warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment. -Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment. -Engage with customers to fully understand their systems and needs. -Loading Johnson Controls field and network level controller software. -Provide front line technical and repair support through effective communication with Johnson Controls customers. -Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. -Perform commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers as well as end devices (i.e. Sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation. -Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields -High school diploma or equivalent. -Solid knowledge base in use of personal computers. -Driver’s license with a clean driving record. -Attention to detail. -High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety. -Good communication and listening skills. -Vocational School four-year program, -or- an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience -or- 2+ years’ experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry. -Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building automation sequence and applications -Able to use hand and power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
