/DesignAgency is seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening with our firm for the role of Intermediate Designer: Technical. /DesignAgency relies on Intermediate Designer: Technical to produce top-quality design, tender and construction drawings and documentation; ensure code and regulatory compliance; and participate in quality control processes. Intermediate Designer: Technical may be required to act as job captains for small projects and project components. The firm expects Intermediate Designer: Technical to develop expertise in technical and design drawing, building codes and standards, construction practices and standards, detailing and materials, and sound environmental practices. They are expected to consult with more senior designers and technologists when they encounter technical challenges or issues with clients, suppliers, contractors or site conditions. They will be recognized for their ability to contribute to effective design teams.

The pay range listed aligns with the geography of the studio for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based on work experience, education, licensure, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of the offer. The successful candidate will be eligible to participate in DesignAgency’s robust benefits program which includes 401(k) contributions, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as hybrid working and paid time off (vacation, sick time, holiday closure, bereavement, etc.). The base salary is estimated between $71,000 - $89,000.
The successful candidate will be eligible to participate on the same basis as similarly situated employees in the Company’s benefit plans in effect from time to time during their employment. All matters of eligibility for coverage or benefits under any benefit plan shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of such plan. The Company reserves the right to change, alter, or terminate any benefit plan in its sole discretion.
