Coordinate with multi-discipline design teams including geotechnical, geological, structural, transmission line, substation, GIS, and construction management team members.
Work under supervision of Engineering Director and/or a Senior Engineer in a professional office setting.
Develop written reports and/or provide verbal communication of information in a professional and appropriate manner.
Develop civil construction specifications.
Perform basic stormwater calculations to size culverts, ditches, and stormwater retention/detention facilities using stormwater modeling software.
Perform occasional site visits to project sites located throughout North America.
Work under supervision of Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Project Manager in a professional office setting.
Execute assignments requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out civil engineering tasks.
Support of substation and transmission line physical design consisting of layout, conduit, grounding, site and work pad development, and erosion and sediment control.

Preferred - familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation
Preferred – 1 to 2 years design experience as an intern, junior engineer, or as part of a co-op or collaboration program
Required - ability to work with moderate supervision and maximum efficiency in a small or medium size office setting
Required - proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Required - excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required - Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) certification with an interest in obtaining Professional Engineer licensure
Required - bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Must be able to lift 40 lbs at times.
Must be able to be able to bend, lift, climb, and walk on uneven surfaces.
