Collaborate with the rest of the Estimating team and the Sales team to appropriately bid projects.
Compute costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements.
Analyze past performance data and apply towards current bids.
Work directly with Project Consultants to gather the needed information to bid projects accordingly.
Will be required to work on project sites and operate vehicles, trailers, machinery, equipment and other tools within local, state and federal safety guidelines.
Serve as front-line Company representative and must provide excellent service to the customer and to the public.
Manage personal Company Software estimating queue daily.
Provide weekly estimating recap to the Estimating Manager.
Serves as a safety ambassador by complying with federal, state and local laws, as well as Company safety policy, enforces safe work practices, and proactively identifies and remedies worksite hazards.
Collect and review proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents in order to prepare and present estimates.
Responsible for cataloging all information, notes and meetings in Company Software.
Solicit and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors.
Responsible for quantifying project amounts and components.
Follow up with sub-contractors to ensure that bids are received.

Use computer software to prepare estimates and supporting documentation.

Will be required to work outside, frequently for long periods of time in all weather, including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Minimum of five (5) years general construction experience.
Must be fluent in English, i.e., must be able to speak, read and write English.
A high school diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
