The position is part of the Nuclear Generation Business Finance team, supporting both nuclear and other power generation assets. The ideal candidate possesses strong verbal and written communication, analytical and quantitative skills, and a background in finance, accounting, or engineering. They must be comfortable interacting with managers and directors, exhibit strong organizational and planning abilities, and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and interpersonal skills.
The role is hybrid, based at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant located nine miles northwest of Avila Beach, CA, and may require on‑site meetings and training. Employees must successfully pass drug and alcohol screening, a security background check, psychological evaluation, and ongoing random testing to obtain and maintain unescorted plant access.
PG&E provides a salary range of $74,000 to $110,000 for this California position, with the final offer depending on factors such as skills, education, experience, market value, and internal equity. The role is also eligible for discretionary incentive compensation programs.
